CERAC was established in 1964 to meet a need in the research and development community for the manufacture of small quantities of less common, known purity, inorganic chemicals. Today, CERAC offers over 2,000 stock items in quantities ranging from one gram to thousands of kilograms. The Company was historically focuses on short run specialty manufacturing, but has been repositioned to target key markets with faster growth rates and longer run production volumes. Some of these markets include optically variable pigments, commercial and architectural glass coating, semiconductor chip production and fiber optic component manufacturing.
